Day 04
[Good morning! For some of you, anyway. Probably. Here come the Shimmering Lady's announcements:]
The Hamadas, who were Soulmates and Demons, have disappeared from the village, and the three sleeping demons were fatally strangled at some point during the night.
The responsibility for these events lies solely on the Night Watch's shoulders. I don't like to be so harsh, but Night Watch is a very serious duty and one with no room for negligence. Therefore, as punishment for last night's irresponsibility, Ling Yao, an ordinary villager, has been sent to the barn.
In addition, Simon Blackquill, a Sinner, has been lost to dreams.
((Status & Roles
Updated Night Watch Roster - those without partners have been combined. Tonight's NW will be Lust and Badou.))

You can ask the Maddened yourself how they did their part, since we know exactly who they are, and nothing was done about it.

Kono ikareta jidai e Yokoso~!
[Just in front of his cottage, the Major has been wandering in and out holding in his arms piles of files and paper. He's singing to himself quite happily, doing a dance, and shaking his hips. There's quite a lot of paper stacked up by now and he's been at this for a good ten minutes.]
Keep you burning. Run through this cluster~ Of decay, freedom, and violence~
[Kneeling down, he grabs a bucket of oil and splashes the papers with it. He splashes the rest of the oil toward the direction of his cottage and puts it down. Afterward, he reaches into his pocket, pulls out a match, and lights it.]
No boy no cry~ Sorrow is not despair, but rather a manifesto of tomorrow~!
[Savoring the moment for just a bit, he throws the match up into the air... and the pile of paper goes up in flames, gradually spreading toward the cottage. Smoke flies into the air, spreading through the village. And the Major's cackle echoes through.]
You wanted a fire, so I have lit one up for you! A bonfire, yes! Laugh, dance, cheer with me, what a wondrous time to live! Haaahahahaha!!
[Raising up his arms, the Major spins in absolute revelry.]

I still don't like you, but that's a pretty good fire.

[She isn't even sure where to begin; there's so much fire and that's bad enough but there's the singing, and he's smiling, and—and everything's wrong.
Wide-eyed, she stands just a little closer to the bonfire than is probably safe. If she could even think about trying to move, she wouldn't be able to.]
Wh..why...

[He stops and faces his sister, his arms outstretched and hands balled up into fists. Any trace of kindness that Clover may have seen in the man's eyes is gone. All that's left is madness with infinite depth.]
Don't you just love the smell of kerosene in the morning?
