[The wall has been breached. So have the illusions. The dreamers are awakening. People's powers are returning. A Gyarados bit off some of her legs. Her suitor is dead. All-in-all, this has not been a very good day for Our Shimmering Lady, She of Unerring Purpose. She's not taking it well, either. She coils up on her concrete temple, hiding all her fleshy bits under a chitinous shell, and roars.

You should never piss off a Lady.]

[Well, hello there. Kimblee's been content to watch the battle from a distance, though even without the Lady's urging, he's never really been one to stay on the sidelines for very long if he's given the opportunity to do otherwise.

So he's here, and arguably he's going to do what he's been doing this entire time: that is, make your lives just that much more miserable simply by merit of existing.

You're more than welcome to come see how "easy" he is to defeat, however. If anything, he welcomes the challenge.]

[ Oswin doesn't have much in the way of powers, just his armor and a spear he's whipped up from a training pole and a sharp knife from one of the kitchens, but he's definitely not one to stay on the sidelines if he can help it, either.

He's had experience fighting the re-animated-and-powered-up dead before, too, so he doesn't have any intent of showing Kimblee any mercy. No, his blade is aimed right for Kimblee's heart. ]

[Kimblee came into this wanting a war and he got...Oswin, with a knife on a stick.

...You know what, you can't have everything.

Kimblee's reflexes have never been the best, but he's had military training and more than enough combat experience to not be taken down so easily; it's a little inelegant but it'll let him dodge the pointy thing for now, feinting back and bringing his hands together with a sharp snap as he does so.

The energy that action creates between his palms is bright blue for now, sharp and crackling, and he's quick to channel it into the ground, allowing it to arc down and detonate between them. So the ground's going to be really unstable and you might want to watch it, Oswin, but at least you're one of the few that's earned a warning shot from him.]

Remember this trick? Roy claps, and stabilizes Oswin's footing. Probably not something you want him to have by surprise. Wouldn't it just suck if someone you looked down on beat you??]

[ Well sorry the Shimmering Lady didn't let him keep any of his usual weapons! At least he's dressed the part, Kimblee, you should appreciate that much.

But that just means the damaged ground is even worse news for him; the way the weight of the armor is balanced, having a solid footing is absolutely essential unless he wants to do an excellent impression of a turtle that's been flipped on its back. So thanks for the help there, Roy! Even though that also catches him off-guard.

To his credit, he manages to stay upright through all of it, and follows up with another attack. It's not a stab this time, though, and instead the blade moves in a sweeping arc. ]
