Miss Lynne - she spoke to me last night. We agreed to dream about one another to see which of us was having genuine visions.

I didn't see anything; it seems the demons saw fit to use their Incubus against me.

However, it probably goes without saying by now that if I had seen anything, she would have been a demon in my dream.

Ugh! But that means if you're telling the truth, we really have nothing to go on at all.

I'll be able to give you a valid reading as of tomorrow morning.

Until then, there's nothing to be done about it except hope the Templar will do their job.

So? Do you think we should kill no one again tonight? Or do you think that guy Bobby is really a demon and he wrote that note to try to clear himself?

I'm remaining impartial for the time being, and seeing how this pans out. I'll make my decision a bit later in the proceedings, I think it's too early to say now.

I don't seem to be the only one to suspect Mr. Fulbright, however - Mr. Tsukiyama is arguing against him as well - and if we continue to stay our hands, we'll just lose more to the demons.

That's true, but if we take out innocent people we're doing their work for them.

And as I said earlier, it's a game of numbers to them, nothing more.

If you would prefer to allow them to continue preying on us at night because you're too consumed with trepidation to take risks when we're able to strike back, that's your choice. As I've said, I'm remaining impartial for now, but if I find the argument against Mr. Fulbright compelling enough, I may change my mind.

What gave you the impression I was consumed with trepidation? If I'm going to kill someone, I want to make sure it's the right person.

...That explains why Ms. Lynne was one of the ones who didn't wake up this morning! She came to you thinking you were a fellow seer, but all she really did was give her position away to the demons!

Some of us possess subtlety, Mr. Fulbright. If I were a demon, I certainly wouldn't ensure that the real Seer immediately died right after I was claiming to be her opposite.

You sure would! It's in the demons' best interest to stop the seers as soon as possible. She never came out in the open, so you knew the Templar likely wouldn't have been protecting her. You had to keep her from waking up with the vision she would have had about you!

...Tell me something.

She didn't know which Seer she was at the time. As such, were I a demon, it would have been in my best interests to keep her alive and well and let her see me for what I am. And then I would lie to her, and tell her that she was the False Seer. That way, she would be believing her incorrect visions to be the truth, and it would be possible for the demons to take out at least one more at a trial before she'd realized that I had lied.

And then what? She couldn't very well say that I had lied to her without outing herself. She would have been brilliant insurance if she'd remained alive. Why would I kill that off?

Because that's exactly how I would have done it, were it me.

Telling me what you "would do" isn't convincing me. I don't know you, so you could invent whatever you wanted for that kind of statement, even invent your discussion with her, since she can't confirm or deny it. What you DID do sounds like it was a collective decision made by more than half a dozen demons.
